Soumik’s story begins with his first assignment from the Times of India’s East Kolkata Plus. He was entrusted to cover an issue that many had ignored: the absence of street lighting near City Center 1. People hurried through that stretch every evening, hesitant and wary, their faces tense under the shadows. Children clung to their parents, elderly folk stumbled in the gloom, and women avoided the area after dusk. Yet, it seemed like no one was paying attention.
Determined to bring the truth to light, Soumik spent hours walking the stretch, speaking with shopkeepers and commuters, taking photographs that captured not just the darkness, but also the hope and resilience of those who called this neighbourhood home. His photographs told stories. They reflected the vulnerability, the unspoken fear, and the steadfast spirit of the people who refused to let darkness control their lives. The next morning, the entire city witnessed Soumik’s striking visuals at the front page of the Times of India’s East Kolkata Plus.
The impact was immediate. Residents who had long felt unseen finally had their story told. For them Soumik had emerged as the metaphor for light itself. After that, Soumik never looked back, exploring various genres of photography and propelling his career forward. He has captured many notable photos, each with its own unique incidents and stories. Here are three of the most remarkable ones.
By the mid-2010s, the pulse of Indian fashion was beginning to beat ever louder, capturing the world’s imagination. At the heart of this creative surge was Priyangshu Majhi, an emerging fashion designer whose innovative vision was set to turn heads across runways and redefine style. It was at this exciting crossroads that our journey intersected with his. In 2014-15, as Priyangshu prepared for his debut at Lakme Fashion Week, the atmosphere was electric with possibility. He invited us for a behind-the-scenes, exclusive photo shoot—an opportunity that would become a defining chapter in our storytelling journey.
The shoot was more than just a series of photographs; it was about capturing the energy of creation, the nervous anticipation backstage, and the transformative power of fabric and vision. As models walked the ramp in Priyangshu’s bold designs, our lenses found moments of vulnerability and triumph, the gleam in the designer’s eye, and the applause of a crowd that knew they were witnessing something special. Our photo story didn’t just chronicle fashion—it became a reflection of contemporary Indian aspiration and artistry. The coverage received immense appreciation, helping Priyangshu Majhi and his creations go viral across India.
Fast forward to 2021, our passion for impactful storytelling opened a new door: a documentary proposal from a reputed directory. The subject was both intriguing and challenging—a docu-narrative on “Babaji,” a revered godman whose enigmatic life had inspired faith and curiosity in equal measure. We accepted to bring this extraordinary story to the screen. By 2023, the camera started rolling. We travelled across ashrams, temples, and villages, documenting moments of devotion, glimpses of personal transformation, and community narratives that spoke of faith and skepticism. The result was more than a biography—it was an exploration of Indian spirituality in modern times, seen through multiple perspectives.
On 14 February 2024, the film released, sparking thoughtful conversations about faith, leadership, and social change. The response was overwhelming, earning praise for its balanced storytelling and compelling visuals. The documentary went on to be selected for broadcast at the prestigious Melbourne India Film Festival, telecasted for a month to a global audience. Feedback from viewers in Australia, India, and beyond revealed how universal some stories truly are. Being part of the Melbourne India Film Festival brought recognition not just to our documentary skills, but to the power of rooted, authentic Indian storytelling. For us, it was proof that local voices can find global resonance and that the world is eager for nuanced, well-told stories from India. As our journey unfolds, with each milestone, from Kolkata’s lamplit lanes to international film festivals, we remain committed to illuminating untold narratives, taking you, our readers and viewers, along for every chapter.

At Peachy Tale Communications, we believe the future of storytelling is where human emotion meets new technology. Our AI-driven film services do more than create visuals. They build immersive narratives that captivate, inspire, and connect with audiences. By combining poetic narration, emotion-driven imagery, and a human-centered creative process, we make films that go beyond the digital screen and leave lasting impressions.
One of our most celebrated projects, “The Unstoppable Her,” shows the power of visual storytelling in the digital age. Launched on International Women’s Day, this AI visual tribute honors the strong spirit of women, including mothers, daughters, leaders, and fighters. It is fierce, poetic, and full of fire. Instead of just presenting a product or service, “The Unstoppable Her” delivers a clear message: when women rise, everything rises. This film is not just a collection of moving images; it’s a thoughtful expression of empowerment. Through emotionally-driven visuals, strong narration, and engaging storytelling, it communicates strength, resilience, and hope.
Our AI-powered films are more than marketing tools. They are cultural statements meant to engage audiences on a deep, emotional level.
At Peachy Tale Communications, we reject the idea that technology should replace human creativity. Instead, we treat AI as a powerful collaborator in the storytelling process. Behind every AI-generated visual lies a meticulous creative journey, where emotion, purpose, and artistic vision guide every decision.
Here’s a detailed look into our 6-step creative workflow:
Every great film starts with a powerful idea. We begin by understanding your brand, your mission, and the message you wish to communicate. Our team of experienced storytellers crafts scripts that are carefully designed to resonate emotionally and communicate your brand’s purpose.
Whether it’s a celebration of diversity, a tribute to legacy, or a call to action, we develop narratives that are relevant, powerful, and memorable. Each script undergoes several iterations, ensuring that the final concept aligns perfectly with your goals.
Once the script is finalized, our team develops a detailed visual storyboard. This acts as a roadmap, scene by scene, outlining how the story will unfold. Every transition, camera angle, mood, and style choice is meticulously planned.
Our goal is to pre-visualize the emotional journey your audience will experience. From the quiet tension of a close-up to the vast beauty of a cinematic wide shot, every detail is carefully considered to maximize impact.
Using state-of-the-art AI technologies, we turn the storyboard into reality. But our process is never purely mechanical. Each frame is designed to evoke emotion, feel organic, and retain the human touch.
Our AI system generates visuals based on predefined artistic guidelines, ensuring that every image tells part of the story. Textures, colors, lighting, and composition are all crafted to support the narrative, resulting in imagery that feels alive rather than manufactured.
This unique fusion of algorithm and artistry allows us to push creative boundaries while maintaining emotional authenticity.
Narration is the heartbeat of our films. We craft every line of the script with care, blending poetic prose with powerful themes. The narration serves not only to explain but to evoke feeling—offering rhythm, tone, and atmosphere that deepen the audience’s connection.
The narrator’s voice is chosen and directed to match the film’s mood, ensuring that each word lands with the right cadence, and every pause amplifies the visual impact.
Post-production is where our commitment to subtlety and authenticity shines. We enhance visuals with precision, avoiding over-manipulation that might detract from the story’s genuine emotional appeal.
Every adjustment in color grading, sound mixing, and visual effects is executed with restraint. Our goal is simple: amplify the story without overshadowing it.
The result is an AI film that looks cinematic, feels human, and stays true to your brand’s essence.
We understand that your audience lives across multiple platforms—social media, websites, presentations, digital displays, and broadcast. That’s why we deliver final films in multiple formats, optimized for each channel.
From Instagram reels to full-length feature presentations, our films are ready to captivate, engage, and inspire wherever your audience interacts with your brand.

At Peachy Tale Communications, we believe fashion photography goes beyond just displaying clothes. It focuses on creating entire worlds that show emotion, movement, and meaning. Every dress tells a story and waiting to be discovered. Through the lens of Soumik, our founder and lead visual storyteller, fabric turns into fantasy. Soumik approaches each photoshoot not only as a photographer but also as an artist and painter. His light acts as a brush, the frame serves as a canvas, and the dress becomes the main character in a vivid story. Each shoot is a blend of different elements. The model’s pose, the lighting, the background, and the mood are all carefully arranged to reveal the garment’s true essence. This combination of creativity and precision not only produces stunning images but also ignites desire, encourages engagement, and boosts sales.
To Soumik, the fashion photographer is an artist first, technician second. Every garment is far more than a product—it’s a protagonist with a rich backstory. The curve of a seam, the fall of a hemline, the texture of the fabric—these are emotional cues that speak to how the garment moves, feels, and transforms the wearer.
His creative process brings the garment’s narrative to life through:
Soumik draws inspiration from the giants of the industry Jatin Kampany’s contemporary edge, Mario Testino’s elegance, and Tarun Khiwal’s poetic grandeur. He humbly compares himself to a child beside these masters, but this humility only fuels his desire to create work that leaves its own mark.
This philosophy is why brands trust Peachy Tale Communications—because we don’t just create images; we craft fine-art visual stories that linger long after the shutter clicks.
One of Soumik’s most celebrated works was the Wild Orchid Photoshoot for Garo, starring the striking Lisa Sharma. Set in an abandoned industrial site where wild orchids flourished among rusted beams, Soumik saw poetry where others saw neglect.
By placing couture amidst nature’s quiet defiance of decay, the shoot created a visual paradox: vibrant blooms contrasted with industrial grit, echoing the resilience of fashion itself. This project not only elevated Garo’s brand but also demonstrated how unconventional settings infuse garments with new life, transforming them into unforgettable works of art.
When The Upper Shelf, a renowned saree brand, approached Soumik, the challenge was profound: show that sarees are worn by women across India, of all ages, for every occasion.
Soumik’s visual narrative unfolded in five evocative chapters:
This project wasn’t just about taking pictures; it was about preserving culture while redefining it for the contemporary woman.
At Peachy Tale Communications, advertisement photography tells a story that supports business goals. Each image serves as a narrative that connects emotionally with your audience, turning product features into strong ideals. When The Upper Shelf wanted to showcase their legacy, we didn't just take pictures of sarees; we captured a movement. Every campaign we create is more than a set of photos; it forms a unified visual story aimed to:
We see every assignment as a special chance to combine art with business, making sure that your visuals don’t just sell; they inspire.
In a world saturated with visuals, standing out requires more than just beautiful images—it demands storytelling that resonates. Here’s what sets us apart:

Industrial photography isn’t just about clicking machines or factory floors—it’s about capturing the heartbeat of innovation. Behind every piece of heavy engineering equipment or precision-made product, there are people, ideas, and stories that deserve to be seen.
At Peachytale Communications, we go beyond documenting infrastructure. Our photographs bring out the energy, skill, and dedication that power industries every day. Whether it’s the scale of a manufacturing facility, the focus of a technician, or the rhythm of a production line, we translate these moments into striking visuals that feel alive.
For us, the camera isn’t just a tool—it’s a storyteller. It captures the imagination, talent, and relentless effort that define your organization. These images don’t just show “what you do”—they reflect who you are, strengthening your brand’s identity and making your work resonate with the world.
Soumik’s introduction to industrial photography happened during his very first shoot for Bengal Shrachi. Until then, his camera had explored products, portraits, and creative assignments — but stepping into an industrial facility was like entering an entirely different universe.
The environment was rough, raw, and intense — nothing like the controlled lighting and clean surfaces of other photography genres. The air carried the smell of oil and metal. Heavy machines, most of them not well-maintained, stood coated in dust and grease. The stakes were high; one wrong touch on the wrong surface could result in serious burns.
And there was an unspoken but very real danger: a single wrong move, a misplaced hand, or an accidental touch could result in serious burns.
In photography, light is everything. In an industrial environment, it’s often the greatest challenge. Soumik quickly realized that the facility’s lighting was far from ideal — dim, uneven, and shadow-filled. Overhead fixtures cast harsh glares on metal surfaces, while corners were swallowed in darkness.
Capturing clear, balanced images in these conditions required more than simply adjusting camera settings. Soumik had to strategically position himself, find angles that worked with the available light, and at times introduce additional lighting without disrupting the workflow of the plant. The mix of bright hot spots and deep shadows meant constant adjustments, quick thinking, and patience.
During the shoot, Soumik met the designer from Madison, the creative agency working with Bengal Shrachi at the time. After reviewing some initial shots, the designer asked a simple but profound question:
“Where are you in these photographs?”
It wasn’t about physically appearance in the frame. It was about creative identity — putting his perspective, storytelling style, and emotional signature into each image.
The designer went further, and shared a collection of modern industrial photographs from around the world. These images showed factories not just as workplaces but as living, breathing ecosystems — with drama, rhythm, and beauty hidden in the shadows and sparks.
Soumik began researching industrial photography trends, techniques, and case studies. The more he explored, the more he was astonished by the inner life of the industrial sector.
He began drawing parallels between factories and something closer to home — a kitchen. Just as a kitchen silently works to prepare the food that sustains daily life, industries power the very systems and comforts of our modern society. Without these vast, complex environments, the world as we know it wouldn’t function.
What once felt rough and unwelcoming began to feel inspiring. The dim lights, the fiery sparks, the deep shadows — all of it sparked a new creative energy in him.
From that day on, Soumik never looked back. Industrial photography became not just another service in his portfolio but a passion-driven craft.
The journey wasn’t instant. It took time, learning, and persistence to master the technical and creative demands of photographing complex industrial environments. But gradually, project by project, Soumik built his expertise and reputation.
Over the years, he has worked with Kothari Group, SSL, Swam Group, and several other major industrial players. Each assignment brought fresh challenges — from photographing massive machinery in action to capturing delicate precision work in low-light conditions, and each one pushed his creativity further.
Industrial photography is unlike any other genre. It requires a balance of technical skill, safety awareness, and creative vision. At Peachytale Communications, we approach every project with:
At Peachytale Communications, our industrial photography services include:
That first industrial shoot at Bengal Shrachi taught Soumik that challenges are opportunities in disguise. Harsh lighting, dusty machinery, and safety hazards were not obstacles. Rather, they were part of the story. By adapting creatively, he was able to produce images that not only documented the facility but also reflected its energy, resilience, and scale.
Over the years, Peachytale Communications has applied this same mindset to every industrial photography project — from heavy manufacturing units to precision engineering plants. Our mission remains the same: to capture industry in its most authentic and compelling form, blending technical skill with creative vision.
Product photography is not just about taking pictures of items; it’s about making images that sell, inspire, and connect. In today’s busy marketplace, how a product looks can determine if it grabs attention or gets overlooked. A strong product image combines technical skill with creative storytelling, transforming the ordinary into something people desire.
At Peachytale Communications, we see product photography as both an art and a strategy. We don’t just capture objects. We craft emotions around them. This philosophy traces back to the early days of Soumik’s creative journey, long before he entered the professional world.
Back in 2007, Soumik often found himself wandering through Nandan and the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata. Those places are always alive with culture, cinema, and art. One quiet afternoon in the Academy courtyard, he crossed paths with an elderly photographer, a man in his 80s whose eyes carried decades of seeing the world through a lens. His voice trembled at times, but his words carried the weight of experience.
That day, he wasn’t photographing people or grand events—he had simply come to capture images of a statue. Yet, in a casual moment, he shared something that would change Soumik’s perspective forever.
He reached into his pocket, pulled out a simple safety pin, and placed it in Soumik’s hand. Then, pointing to the ground where sunlight fell across the pavement, he said softly:
"When you photograph an object, it’s never the same as what you see with your eyes. A camera transforms it. Sometimes in small ways, sometimes dramatically. Product photography is about understanding that transformation, and using it to tell the right story."
At first, Soumik was unsure—he had always been more drawn to faces, places, and candid slices of life than static objects. But then, through the lens, the safety pin suddenly looked different—no longer ordinary. Its tiny curves held shape, texture, depth. It had presence.
That was the spark. A lesson passed down in a quiet courtyard, from one photographer to another, planted the seed of what would grow into Soumik’s lifelong relationship with product photography. A reminder that even the simplest objects contain beauty and waits for the right vision to bring it to life.
Back then, Soumik didn’t own elaborate studio equipment or expensive lighting kits. What he had was a basic camera, a curious mind, and a newfound interest in how objects could be visually transformed. At home, he began experimenting with everyday items — cups, books, watches, fruits, utensils — anything that could be placed under different lights and photographed from unusual angles.
He learned how shadows could add depth, how reflections could enhance luxury, and how changing the background could alter the entire mood of a product. A spoon shot from above looked ordinary, but shot from a low side angle, with light streaming from behind, it suddenly felt artistic and unique.
This period of exploration taught him a valuable truth: in product photography, no object is too simple to be made visually compelling.
Over time, Soumik’s curiosity turned into a skillset. He began to understand the visual psychology behind product photography — how images influence perception and how perception drives sales. The camera was not just a tool to document; it was a tool to market, persuade, and brand.
From small artisan products to branded merchandise, Soumik started working with local businesses, helping them present their products in the best possible light. The safety pin lesson had matured into a professional philosophy: every product has a story, and the photographer’s job is to make that story visible.
In the modern sales ecosystem — whether it’s e-commerce, retail, social media, or print advertising — your product image is your first salesperson. Before a customer touches, tests, or uses a product, they see it. That first impression can be the difference between a sale and a missed opportunity.
Here’s why professional product photography is indispensable today:
Soumik’s work is rooted in both artistry and strategy. The ‘safety pin’ moment taught him that product photography is not about the object itself but how it’s seen. Today, he brings that philosophy into every project through a carefully planned process:
Before the camera comes out, Soumik spends time learning about the product’s purpose, target audience, and the emotions the brand wants to evoke. A luxury watch requires a different visual treatment than handmade pottery.
Lighting, background, props, and angles are selected to align with the brand’s tone. For example, a clean white background may be perfect for e-commerce, while a lifestyle setting may suit social media campaigns.
Tiny dust particles, fingerprints, or distracting reflections can ruin an otherwise perfect image. Soumik’s meticulous attention to detail ensures products look flawless.
Even after years in the field, he still experiments — just like he did in his early days at home. This often leads to unique perspectives that surprise clients.
Editing is not about altering reality but about enhancing clarity, contrast, and color so the product appears at its absolute best.
Soumik provides a wide range of product photography services tailored to different business needs:
Over the years, Soumik has seen how powerful product images can transform sales and brand perception. Businesses that once struggled to attract attention found new customer interest simply by upgrading their product visuals.
The lesson from the elderly photographer still rings true: the lens changes reality — and a skilled photographer knows how to make that change work in your favor.
At Peachytale Communications, our approach to product photography is rooted in a story that began with founder Soumik’s chance meeting at Nandan with an 80-year-old photographer — and a simple safety pin. That single, everyday object became a lasting symbol of a bigger truth: photography is not just about recording reality, but about presenting it in a way that inspires action.
Today, we bring that same passion and perspective to help brands showcase their products in the most compelling light. From startups launching their first product line to established companies refreshing their catalogue, our mission is simple — to make your product impossible to ignore.
If your product deserves to be seen, it deserves to be photographed well.
In the arena of visual communication, advertising photography is more than just taking stunning images; it's about narrating the story of a company in a way that appeals to consumers' emotions, piques their interest, and motivates them to take action. Each image serves as a conduit between a product and its target market, converting attributes into feelings and ideals into images. We at Peachy Tale Communications think that an advertisement image should cause viewers to stop, take another look, and experience something. The correct image can change perception and leave a lasting brand impression, whether it's a small detail or a striking story. This is where your business vision and our creative lens collide.
When The Upper Shelf—a renowned saree company—approached Soumik for their advertisement photography, they brought with them a simple yet profound claim: Our sari is worn by women from all parts of India, and it’s suitable for women of all ages.
At first glance, it might have seemed like just another product brief, but Soumik understood that this was more than fabric, drapes, or patterns—it was a cultural symbol, a piece of history, and a living tradition. His task was not merely to showcase sarees, but to give life to their story in ways words alone could not.
For days, he immersed himself in understanding the brand, its audience, and its deeper narrative. He researched cultural imagery, reflected on how sarees have accompanied women through changing eras, and sought to uncover visual metaphors that could carry emotion and heritage together.
When the storyline finally came to him, it wasn’t a single idea—it was a journey through time, tradition, and transformation. Each photoshoot would tell its own tale, but together, they would form a cohesive brand message: The saree belongs everywhere, to every woman, in every moment of life.
The first shooting was carried out in the Thakurdalan, the central courtyard of an old house that is customarily used for religious celebrations and family get-togethers. Soumik envisioned a woman sitting elegantly, putting Alta on her feet, getting ready for something.
The old pillars, the faded walls, and the gentle afternoon light leaking in created a nostalgic atmosphere. The model's posture exuded timeless grace while she wore a traditional saree in deep, rich tones. This picture was about more than just the saree; it was about the ceremony, the subdued pride in getting ready, and the beauty in the little things.
It was a tribute to tradition, but the saree's beauty made it ageless, appropriate for both a contemporary event and an old-world celebration.
Another old Kolkata house's sunny rooftop served as the location for the second photo session. Here, the model was seen flying a kite while wearing a light, breezy saree. The sun-drenched pickle jars surrounding her evoked the carefree, joyous afternoons of Indian summers.
The rooftop setting connected the domestic and the adventurous, while the kite represented aspiration, freedom, and joy. Here, the saree was lively, playful, and light rather than formal or ceremonial.
The saree's ability to adjust to the beat of daily life and allow a woman to move as freely as her dreams was depicted in this picture.
The tone changed to one that was more reflective during the third shoot. The model stood in front of a massive, intimidating gate that served as the background, looking out. The setting was purposefully chosen to reflect the early 1990s, when many women were still subject to limitations and frequently lived their lives inside the home even though the outside world called to them.
Here, the saree carried the burden of those eras. The shot was silently powerful rather than loud. In the silence, you could sense the tension: the urge to leave, the doubt about permission, the imperceptible obstacles.
It served as a reminder that clothes also carry memories—of the women who wore them before they had complete freedom.
The fourth picture, which was taken in the dull winding streets of North Kolkata, was about a journey from nostalgia to resolve. This woman, who was carrying her college bag and was dressed simply in a saree, walked with purpose.
Her steps was forward, confident, and unstoppable, in stark contrast to the lane's shadows, which spoke of outdated customs and social boundaries.
This picture represented change by redefining and walking through tradition rather than by eschewing it. As she sought education, ambition, and independence, the saree became more than just a piece of clothing for staying inside; it became an integral part of who she was.
Soumik brought the saree into the middle of the city's chaos for the final shoot, where people were moving, yellow taxis were honking, and trams were rattling by. The model stood motionless, proud, and unflinching in the midst of everything.
The saree was audacious, striking, and unrepentant. The goal was to stand out, not to blend in.
The picture represented the present and future of saree-wearing women: not only free, but unstoppable. Nobody was able to ignore her presence as the bustle of the city turned into her stage.
For Soumik, this wasn’t just another assignment. It was a rare chance to merge cultural preservation with modern storytelling—to show that tradition and progress don’t cancel each other out; they enrich each other.
Each photograph became a chapter in a visual novel about the saree:
The project demanded more than technical skill—it required empathy, research, and the ability to see beauty and meaning where others might see only fabric.
This campaign for The Upper Shelf is a perfect example of what Peachy Tale Communications believes advertisement photography should be: an art form that serves a purpose.
Here’s why our approach works:
